What I learned this year in Drama. When i froze in the first show that was a total life changer for me. I had to get over it. I was so nervous I couldn't think straight. My breathing was difficult too. My hands were very sweaty and just talking about it now makes me nervous. When Mr. Raposa came down on stage with me he hugged me and said everything is going to be fine. We can do this. One of my scene mates gave me a hug too and said its going to be ok. I started to be able to breath again. I was still nervous and  I started to cry. I couldn't help it. He helped me feel better about freezing on stage. I went down stairs and mrs. Boudreau was there. She helped me get through this by talking to me and she had an idea to tape my lines on my tray. This made me feel much better about going on stage and and at this point i felt like i could do it better.
The second time i nailed it. I felt better. My friend aryn was there.
I learned that i have more than one family. My mom mad brother have always been there for me when i needed support but now i know that i have other families here in this world. My acting family is so important to me because i can be myself and they don't criticize me. They treat me with respect. I feel comfortable around them and have grown as a person. I have grown with my ability to say hi to people and sit with people and ask them if they can be my friend.
This is the real world when you beat your challenges and you do things that scare you.

The things that i need to work on is my pronunciation. I have to slow down and talk slower. Memorizing is something that i need help with so i make a video of my lines and have learned to play them over and over so i can be ready for the show.
The last thing i need to work on is listening to the director with his ideas on what i need to do on stage. My movements on stage.

I will miss this new family that i have made next semester because i am taking Photography.
Thank you Mr. Raposa for all that you taught me and generosity of your time to teach me so many things. You are the best.
